This free touring exhibition from Rockhampton Museum of Art showcases a compelling array of works that pay homage to the iconic characters and spirit of the apocalyptic Mad Max films by George Miller.

Maximum Madness pays tribute to the series' intricate blend of biker, gearhead, queer, and beefcake cultures evident in the film, highlighting its role in reshaping the realms of science fiction and artistic expression.

Caboolture Regional Art Gallery will also hold a series of creative activities during the exhibition including an art discovery trail, post-apocalyptic crafts, and a free drop-in interactive creative space Prototypes created by artists Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan.

You can also enjoy free guided tours of the exhibition with gallery staff - suitable for all ages - every Tuesday and Saturday from 11:30am - 12pm (excluding public holidays).

Entry to the exhibition is free. Caboolture Regional Art Gallery is open Tues - Saturday, 10am - 4pm (excluding public holidays).
