D & W REPUBLIC HAS CLOSED IN OCTOBER 2024.

D & W Republic is Wynnum's first small bar - a chic atmospheric bar and lounge located in the town centre of the beautiful bayside suburb. 

Look for the striking aqua-slatted wall with curtained windows on Edith Street and step inside to a dimlit convivial space with a stunning green mosaic tiled bar illuminated by naked gold bulbs along one wall.

In the front street side of the bar there's a couple of booths along one wall while opposite the bar a cushioned banquette runs along the other wall and a handful of bar tables and stools also prvide seating.

On the drinks menu are signature cocktails like Cuban espresso martini, chilli or passionfruit margarita, Aloha Sailor (Sailor Jerry rum & aloha), or Aquatini (peach schnapps, lychee liqueur, blue curacoa & pineapple juice).

The concise boutique wine list offers a smattering of whites from Italy, NZ and Victoria, rose from Provence; reds from WA and SA and sparkling from Italy and France. There are also three craft beers and one ginger beer on tap.

Meanwhile a DJ at the rear of the bar spins smooth tunes to set the scene.
