Corn Street
Ashgrove
Corn Street is a stunning cafe and modern day marketplace where patrons can enjoy expertly brewed coffee, breakfast or brunch and browse the amazing array of handcrafted artisan wares.
Nestled on Waterworks Road in Ashgrove, the cafe formerly known as Macho Macho has transformed into a beautiful market place with timber shelves stacked with thoughtfully-curated, unique, one-of-a-kind items including hand-painted ceramics, handwoven cushions, cute plant pots and much more.
Customers can relax in the gorgeous space that is furnished with a blush pink velvet lounge and matching chairs, with additional tables and chairs provided in the rear of the cafe, as well as on the footpath (where dogs are welcome to join their owners).
The all-day menu features breakfast faves from house-roasted granola and avocado on sourdough to eggs Benedict; while lunch options include the popular pulled pork burger (apple braised slow-cooked pork, red cabbage slaw and Kewpi mayo) and fresh, wholesome salads made in-house. Think turmeric cauliflower with buckwheat, chickpeas, kale and coco yoghurt, or pearl cous cous with pesto, fetta and roasted veggies (eggplant, onion, artichoke, capsicum and zucchini).
In addition, there are freshly baked sweet and savoury treats ranging from chocolate brownies to delectable cupcakes and tasty fritattas.
Coffee on pour is Wilde by Seven Miles Coffee Roasters, served along with Mayde organic tea, hot chocolate, chai, kombucha and more.
