Updated: Jan 03, 2021

Jolly Roger is a dim lit pirate punk bar in Fortitude Valley specializing in rum, craft beer, loud head-banging music and vintage cartoons.

The intimate space, perfect for fans of punk, rock and heavy metal, features pirate-themed wall art, exposes handmade bricks, inviting clusters of velvet vintage lounges and chairs, and, at the front, a mega jenga game and treasure chest, while at the rear is a 'cage' called The End.

On the drinks menu are a wide range of craft beers and rums, along with other spirits and a smattering of wine (red, white, rose or sparkling). There's also a cracking cocktail list with plenty of rum-based concoctions - think Rum Old- Fashioned.

While there's no food on offer yet, negotiations are underway with the restaurant next door for the option to BYO takeaway food in.
