Flipside Summer of Circus

Flipside Circus is back with another huge Summer of Circus! Whether you’re looking for active fun or skill development this holidays - their workshops have got you covered! Including an advanced acrobatics workshop from Artem (Cirque du Soleil) and a fun afternoon, 1 day, 3 day and 5 day workshop.

Whether your children are toddlers or school age, there's a workshop that suits each age group and ability level.

FLIPPEROOS CAMP | Ages 5 - 7yrs

A bouncy and active 90-minute workshop with lots of play-based circus fun for young beginners.

5 DAY WORKSHOP | Ages 8 - 16yrs. Dec 16- 20; Jan 6-10  

A five-day circus program where students develop circus skills and create a performance for friends and family to enjoy.

3 DAY WORKSHOP | Ages 8 - 16 yrs. Jan 8-10

Get involved in circus for 3 days of learning new skills, making new friends and having a blast!

1 DAY WORKSHOP | Ages 6 - 16yrs. Dec 20, Jan 7, Jan 16

Run away with the circus for a day! A day chock full of circus fun where students can show off their skills for family and friends at the end of the day.

5 DAY PERFORMANCE CAMP I Experience required. Jan 13-17

Get immersed in circus for 5 days of show development. Perform for an audience at the end of the week!

WATERWAYS CIRCUS CAMP | First Nations. Dec 13-16

First Nations people aged 12 and up are invited to join Flipside Circus for 4 days of skill development! This is a paid opportunity.

TEETERBOARD WITH LUKE! | Ages 12 and up. Dec 19

Add a new apparatus to your bag of tricks. Flipside trainer and performer Luke Whitefield is running a one day workshop that covers the fundamentals of teeterboard.

BANQUINE MASTERCLASS WITH ARTEM (CIRQUE DU SOLEIL) | Ages 9 and up. Dec 19.

Join Artem (Cirque du Soleil) for a masterclass on banquine. Banquine is a highly synchronised circus act where two bases form a platform where the flyer takes their position. The bases push off and the flyer jumps to perform various somersaults transitioning to catches, the ground, or even to another apparatus (like a teeterboard).
