Florence Cafe
Camp Hill
Florence Café is a charming neighbourhood café and deli housed in an historic corner store in Camp Hill.
A sibling for Brisbane’s popular laneway haunt Felix For Goodness, customers can expect top-notch food and well-brewed coffee roasted locally by Parallel Roasters.
The décor is casual chic with a beautiful Italian terrazzo-style coffee bar, custom-made furniture and arched shelving filled with homemade goods such as strawberry rhubarb jam, beetroot relish, honey, olives, organic sourdough, pasta sauce and pickled veges.
The all-day breakfast menu includes breakfast favourites with a twist like avocado on sourdough with chive cashew cream, crispy quinoa, roasted harissa onion and lemon olive oil, and cauliflower fritters with pineapple and tamarind chutney, fresh herbs and green goddess sauce.
Lunch, served from 11:30am, consists of wholesome, comfort food from baguettes stuffed with pork and fennel meatballs, and buckwheat crepes with beetroot cured fish and labneh, to the café’s signature Florence Bowl (seasonal bowl of ferments, greens, raw and roasted vegetables, served with toasted seed loaf).
Alternatively, patrons can share a grazing board piled with local cheese, cured meat, fruit, house preserves, pickles, fresh sourdough, crackers and cultured butter.
Besides coffee, there’s Heirloom hot chocolate, Chamellia organic teas, plant-based vegan smoothies, cold pressed juices, house made kombucha and kefir.
