From its humble beginnings in the backstreets of Salisbury, to peddling pastries at the Rocklea Markets, and providing some of Brisbane's best cafes with baked goods, Sprout has gained a loyal following; so it was only a matter of time before it opened its first brick and mortar store.

Inside its new home, the artisan bakery boasts a modern, minimalist fit out with a monochromatic colour scheme, where display cases are crammed with an array of delicious sweet and savoury treats including classic French pastries such as almond croissants and sweet bostocks.

Other water-watering treats include seasonal fruit danishes, brioche berry crumbles, double chocolate croissants, custard tarts, cardamom scrolls, cinnamon buns, and chocolate buckwheat biscuits; while savoury delights include ham and cheese scrolls, mini quiches, and breakfast danishes.

As well as flaky pastries, Sprout also sells artisanal loaves of bread from classic sourdough and seeded, to rye, wholemeal and spelt.
