It's Still a Secret is an exquisite vintage bar occupying the ground floor of 130 year old heritage-listed Coronation Hotel in South Brisbane.

Step through the door and you'll be transported straight back into the 1970's, from the furniture to the decor, all beautifully curated by owner Emily-Jane, whose other venue is Woolloongabba's popular retro bar Can You Keep a Secret?

With rooms in tones of burnt orange, olive green, brown and yellow, lit by pottery lamps and adorned with macrame and shells, a portable TV, fur rugs, wallpaper and wall hangings, the vibe is 1970's rumpus room, conversation pit and lounge room.

As well as preserving the building's features, like the pressed metal ceilings and exposed brick walls, It's Still a Secret continues the legacy of previous incarnations The Joynt and The Milk Factory as a live music bar (with some of the best acoustics in Brisbane) and in between acts DJ's are spinning vinyl.

Out back is a cute beer garden with 1970's yellow and white-striped BBQ furniture, fringed umbrellas and astro turf and punters are welcome to bring their doggo's to join them here. There's also some super cool patio furniture undercover on the pavement.
