Apples On Ainsworth

Salisbury

Updated: May 10, 2022

Buried in a tiny 1960s shopping strip in Salisbury is Apples on Ainsworth, a rustic gem of a cafe, with a delicious home baked menu and a smattering of gourmet produce for sale.

Colonial wooden dressers, colourful patchwork cushions, a chalkboard feature wall, cane baskets of fruit and vegetables and a church pew feature inside while on the pavement are a cluster of wooden chairs and tables.

Beyond the charming ambience, the great value food is a serious drawcard, with the majority of ingredients organic and sourced locally. And being an all day menu, the items are designed to sustain from early morning to afternoon.

Delicious breakfasts include the likes of Spanish Eggs, Breakfast Burrito, Halloumi Stack and Breaky Waffle, Savoury Mince, Sweetie waffles, avo on toast and Breakfast Bruschetta.

Otherwise there’s a selection of healthy Bowls including acai, snowy electrolyte coconut and choc peanut protein and Salads (think Bacon Devilled Egg or Halloumi Rocket).

The menu may have changed since our visit.
