Grand View Hotel & Pub

Cleveland Pt

Updated: Sep 18, 2024

Proudly bearing the mantle of Queensland’s oldest licensed pub, the Grand View began life as a single storeyed structure in 1851 and today after various extensions and a motley history is one of Cleveland’s oldest surviving buildings.

In fact it is arguably one of the bay’s treasures and a more than pleasant place to while away some time with a cold drink and pub meal.

Long gone are the bathing house and nearby jetty but out back is a laid back tropical beer garden, the Emu Point Garden Bar, with views to Moreton Island and inside the homey olde world Lounge Bar.
