Evolve Café in Newmarket is a fully organic café dishing up delicious plant-based fare for breakfast and lunch.

Located adjacent to Market Organics health food store, Evolve is a light-filled café offering indoor and outdoor dining.  The indoor dining room features timber tables, with banquette seating along one window, and a cosy, cushion-strewn coffee nook in the corner.

Breakfast fare, served from 7-11am, ranges from apple kombucha bircher with coconut yoghurt and cinnamon berry compote, and smashed avocado on sourdough with beetroot hummus, to okonomiyaki Japanese pancakes made with sir fried veggies and tofu, and potato rosti with tempeh chorizo and herbs, topped with wilted spinach, poached eggs and peri peri sauce.

Healthy lunch options include Evolve’s signature bowl filled with house-preserved, live cultured pickled vegetables, probiotic kimchi, chick peas, pumpkin and kale, tofu burger with smoked chilli marinade, vegan mayo and kimchi, and the highly-recommended Thai green curry with tofu, pumpkin, chickpeas and coconut cream.

Coffee on pour is by Toby’s Estate.  Otherwise, there are loose leaf teas, cold pressed juices and smoothies.

Nice to know - There are two other Evolve Cafes in Brisbane (Rocklea, Clayfield) plus one in North Ipswich.
