RED HOOK CLOSED IN JUNE 2025.

From Brooklyn to Brisbane, Red Hook brings New York style street food to a city laneway.

Red Hook Gresham Lane Brisbane

Tucked away in Gresham Lane off Queen Street, this hole-in-the-wall diner/takeaway dishes up delicious fare like waffles and well-brewed Genovese coffee for breakfast while lunch options range from cheeseburgers (Grandmaster Flash or Brooklyn) and NYC hot dogs to Red Hook lobster rolls and Kung Fu duck tacos; with sides of hand cut fries, buffalo wings, mac n' cheese squares and battered pickles.

Red Hook Gresham Lane's burger

Diner by day, bar by night,  beers include Budweiser, Brooklyn lager and Byron Bay's Stone & Wood Pacific Ale while wines hail from the USA, Australia and Europe including French champagne.  Or unwind after work with a few cocktails like a Creek Street Julep (bourbon, mint and sugar), New York Sour (rye, pineapple, red wine and lemon) or Harlem Hard Shake (bourbon, chocolate, caramel and peanut butter ice-cream).
